Norrie Johnston Recruitment Adds Director

September 4, 2014 – Graham Oates has purchased a 10 percent stake in Norrie Johnston Recruitment (NJR) and he has also joined the firm as a director. According to sources, Mr. Graham will fulfill a leadership role in the development of the firm’s service offerings to technology and international clients. He was a senior partner at KPMG for 14 years and managing partner and member of its U.K. board. During this period he built the IT consulting business for KPMG U.K. and also launched the firm’s internet operation, Metrius Europe, oversaw the growth of the KPMG business in the Asia Pacific market and spearheaded joint ventures with Compaq, Microsoft and Cisco Systems. “Graham has a tremendous track record building multi-million pound businesses. These ventures grew quickly because they offered something discernibly different to the corporate community they served and they were focused on service,” said Norrie Johnston. “So to have Graham not just on the board, but also investing in NJR, shows that our vision of creating a genuinely different kind of recruitment business has real substance.” Norrie Johnston Recruitment is focused on filling senior interim and permanent positions using a mix of technology plus traditional search.
