Newland Associates Selected by Consolidated CareerSource to Lead CEO Search Serving Hillsborough County and Pinellas County
March 18, 2024 – As a direct result of Florida’s Reimagining Education and Career Help (REACH) Act, a Florida Workforce System Transformation Plan was created which includes the consolidation of CareerSource Tampa Bay and CareerSource Pinellas. This plan entailed the establishment of: a newly formed Consortium, an advisory committee, a set of staff workgroups representative of both organizations and a regional calendar and timeline to address the consolidation and merger requirements. In a move aimed at creating a unified entity, the advisory board has retained Lake Mary, FL-based executive search firm Newland Associates to find a CEO. Heading the assignment for Newland Associates are Michelle Epstein, vice president of executive search, and Vanessa Abreu, director of recruiting.
