McDermott & Bull Fills Finance Post for Restoration Hardware
April 20, 2010 – Irvine, CA-based McDermott & Bull has placed Roy Oakes as assistant corporate controller of Restoration Hardware. Mr. Oakes was previously the assistant controller at Long Drug Stores before its acquisition by CVS. “Roy is a financial executive with many proven years of leadership and management experience. He not only uses his managerial accounting skills to support systems development and implementation, but proficiently matches marketing and logistics goals with the company’s overall financial objectives,” said Marty McMahon, principal consultant at McDermott & Bull. “Restoration Hardware was looking for an individual with such a background and we were pleased to have presented Roy through the McDermott & Bull Direct Access program.” Restoration Hardware was founded nearly 30 years ago when they opened their first store in Eureka, California.
