McDermott + Bull Expands in Toronto
November 10, 2025 – Irvine, CA-based McDermott + Bull has expanded with the addition of Sachin Sama as partner in its Toronto office. He will spearhead the expansion of the firm’s energy and industrials practice across North America, leveraging more than 15 years of experience advising organizations through transformation, growth, and leadership transitions.

Mr. Sama has built deep expertise in energy, renewables, utilities, and industrial markets, serving clients across the United States and Canada. He partners with boards and executive teams navigating rapid investment, infrastructure modernization, and sustainability commitments shaping the sector. Mr. Sama most recently served as client partner, energy and industrials at Marlin Hawk. Before that, he was managing consultant, consumer products, North America, at Korn Ferry. Prior to this, Mr. Sama was VP consulting at Banter.
As partner, Mr. Sama will extend McDermott + Bull’s reach into major markets including Toronto, Calgary, Houston, Chicago, and New York, reinforcing the firm’s ability to deliver senior leadership solutions for organizations shaping the future of energy and industrial transformation.
