Marovi Appoints Head of Engineering

September 2, 2026 – Atlanta-GA-based Marovi has expanded with the addition of Ebubechukwu “Don” Enwerem as head of engineering. “Over the past few years, Don has had several engineering terms with Amazon Robotics – work estimated to save millions in operational costs. In between stints, he was building with Marovi. When the opportunity came to continue with Amazon, Don chose the entrepreneurial path with Marovi instead,” the firm explained. “He’s been part of the story for a while now. Behind the scenes, Don has been bringing deep expertise in practical AI systems, computer vision, and large language models to Marovi’s evaluation intelligence platform – work that’s already helped us deliver custom, advanced solutions for some of our biggest clients.”

“Don doesn’t just build things that work. He builds things that hold up under real pressure, at real scale,” said Jin Ro, co-founder and product visionary at Marovi. “We’ve seen firsthand what he brings to a problem, and it’s rare to find someone this technically sharp who’s also this thoughtful about the people the technology is meant to serve. Having him lead engineering as we scale is exactly the kind of foundation we want under Marovi.”

Mr. Enwerem brings experience spanning artificial intelligence, software engineering, healthcare technology, and entrepreneurship. At Amazon Robotics, he built full-stack internal tools, LiDAR-based inventory tracking systems, and computer vision pipelines for automated hardware validation. He also worked at Penn Medicine, where he developed LLM-powered tools for synthetic radiology report generation and co-authored research presented at RSNA, SIIM, and AAR.

In addition, Mr. Enwerem has also focused on red-teaming large language models and developing frameworks designed to identify vulnerabilities before they become larger problems. As a founder, he built Meddibia, an EMR platform, and as co-founder of nonprofit WazobiaCode, he helped build a program that has taught web development to more than 150 students in Nigeria.

“As Marovi’s evaluation intelligence platform continues to scale with enterprise and PE-backed clients, having engineering leadership that’s already proven itself inside the product matters,” the firm said. “Don’s work spans exactly the areas that define what we’re building: practical AI systems, computer vision, large language models, and the harder question of how these systems hold up in the real world, for real people making real decisions. Basically, Don builds things. A lot of things. And now he’s building with us – officially.”

Talent Evaluation Intelligence Platform

Launched last year, Marovi is a talent evaluation intelligence platform for executive hiring. The firm was co-founded by Matt Mooney, Jin Ro, and Vicky Williams.

Private Equity Recruiting – Return on Investment: Creating Value with Talent

Talent has become a defining driver of performance in private equity, shaping how firms manage risk, execute strategy, and deliver sustained returns. As deal cycles tighten and value creation depends increasingly on operational excellence, leadership quality and organizational design are no longer secondary considerations — they are central to how firms source, underwrite, and scale investments. From talent diligence and CEO succession to team integration and leadership development, human capital decisions now influence outcomes across the entire investment lifecycle.

Hunt Scanlon Media will convene more than 250 private equity operating partners, chief talent officers, and executive recruiters at the Hilton in Chicago on September 29, 2026. The program will explore how firms are elevating human capital into a core driver of investment outcomes—redefining how leadership is assessed, built, and deployed across the portfolio to support growth, execution, and long-term value creation.
