La Fosse Associates Appoints Head of New York Office

November 30, 2020 – U.K.-headquartered executive search firm La Fosse Associates has expanded its North American practice with the addition of Brett Vecchio as head of its New York office.

“The team and I are very much looking forward to working with Brett as he joins our North American team at such an exciting time,” said Jack Denison, global head of executive search and interim management at La Fosse Associates. “His blend of private equity and executive search experience will help further accelerate our growth into the market globally.”

Mr. Vecchio brings over a decade of executive search experience to the team, focused not only within venture capital and private equity but also across the broader technology spectrum. He joins La Fosse from boutique private equity consulting firm Accordion Partners, where he focused on advising and executing on a broad range of human capital and talent management initiatives for the firm along with their private equity clients and portfolio companies.

“I am very pleased to join La Fosse at such an exciting time for the firm’s global expansion efforts and will help to continue to drive the growth across the private equity landscape,” said Mr. Vecchio. “The executive team in the U.K. has made significant headway into working with some of the top funds globally, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to leverage my background to grow the footprint here in the United States.”

As the base for its East Coast operations, La Fosse’s New York office allows the firm to extend its private equity and executive recruitment services to new and existing clients operating in the U.S. It offers the same opportunities and positions as its U.K. headquarters, recruiting top to bottom on an executive search, interim, permanent and contract basis. The team in New York City works extensively with private equity and venture capital funds, recruiting either directly for their teams, or into their portfolio companies.

Business Outside the U.K.

“With 40 percent of our 2020 placements being made outside of the U.K., Brett and our other strategic hires are instrumental in our mission to increase La Fosse’s global presence, expanding on existing relationships and forging new client partnerships,” the search firm said.

Mr. Vecchio’s hire follows a number of key hires into our executive teams this year, including Alice Lesbaupin and Lise Ferrier who joined the firm earlier this year from Egon Zehnder and Montagu Private Equity respectively.
