Kforce Posts Slight Revenue Gain

May 6, 2010 – Kforce Inc./(NASDAQ:KFRC), a provider of professional staffing services and solutions, has announced first quarter of 2009 revenue of $226.7 million, a increase of 0.9 percent from $231.3 million in revenues a year ago. The company earned $2.7 million, or seven cents per diluted share, in the period ended March 31, compared to net income of $3.2 million, or eight cents per share, in the same quarter in 2009. “Permanent placement revenues increased 6.6 percent sequentially, which we believe reflects our clients rebuilding core staff after significant reductions throughout the economic recession. We believe our diverse portfolio of service offerings and unique delivery platform have helped to prepare us for what we believe may be a recovery in the temporary staffing industry,” said David L. Dunkel, chairman and CEO.
