Jobplex Appoints Partner
March 28, 2019 – Jobplex, the Chicago-based partner company of DHR International, has expanded with the addition of Claire Sylvestre as partner.
Prior to joining Jobplex, Ms. Sylvestre served as director and executive international recruiter for YER USA in Chicago.
In this role, she spearheaded business development functions and ran all aspects of recruitment functions to source new clients and candidates. Her international business experience has been a key factor in helping her both understand diverse backgrounds and provide a high level of recruitment solutions, said the firm.
After moving to the U.S. over 20 years ago from France, Ms. Sylvestre carved out a career in the brokerage of residential and commercial real estate, both on domestic and international scale. She also had been involved in public relations and was a small-business owner.
“We are very excited to have Claire join the Jobplex team,” said Justin Hirsch, president of Jobplex. “With Claire’s experience with both European and U.S. clients, she will be a valuable asset to our growing Jobplex business.”
Jobplex, founded in 1996, is a global talent acquisition solutions company that serves a diverse client base. The firm was created to meet the needs of the next generation recruiting market, complementing the senior-level retained executive search services provided by DHR International. In partnership, the two companies are designed to provide a total recruitment solution.
Recent Growth
Jobplex recently named Margaret Gramann as managing partner. She brings expertise to consumer-focused industry recruitment with two decades of public and private company senior-level general management and sales operations experience. Ms. Gramann focuses on consumer-driven industries that include manufacturing corporations and/or retailers of food, beverages, general merchandise, apparel, supplies, containers, equipment and mobile technology.
Jobplex and Microsoft Extend Commitment to Hiring Veterans
Jobplex renewed a contract with Microsoft to lead the placement of U.S. military veterans who graduate from the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA). The MSSA program prepares active duty U.S. service members with job skills to meet the IT industry’s high demand.
Graduation from MSSA is planned so that it coincides with service members’ discharge dates, allowing them to begin a job immediately after completing the 18-week course.
More than 450 candidates have graduated from the MSSA program and either found employment in the tech industry or gone back to school for a tech degree. With this renewed contract, Jobplex is expecting the number of candidates who graduate from the program and are placed into jobs to double in size.
“We are very excited to have tapped Margaret to join the Jobplex team,” said Mr. Hirsch. “Margaret is a seasoned pro and we look forward to her helping us lead and continue scale our practice in consumer-driven industries.”
Brittany Skrip was also recently chosen to join the corporate talent acquisition team as senior talent acquisition associate. Previously, she served as an associate supporting Mr. Hirsch and his team for two years. Prior to joining Jobplex, Ms. Skrip worked as an executive recruiter for Huntington Partners, focusing on the construction and real estate industries.
“Brittany has been very successful at Jobplex for the past two years. Her high touch approach, dedication and hard work has served both clients and candidates well,” said Mr. Hirsch. “We are excited for Brittany’s new role on the talent acquisition team, where her focus will be exclusively on all new partner recruitment for Jobplex.”
