JM Search Promotes Partner In Technology Search Practice

June 10, 2015 – Executive search firm JM Search has named Peter Flint to partner and one of the leaders of its technology practice. His diverse background as a venture investor, board member, recruiter, and operating executive gives him a unique perspective on executive search. Mr. Flint focuses on leading search assignments for CEOs and CXOs of SaaS and consumer Internet companies. Additionally, he will be involved in the expansion of the firm’s offices in San Francisco, New York, and Boston. “Peter has proven himself to be an incredible addition to JM Search in a short period of time. He is an excellent thought leader based on his many years as one of the premier search consultants in the country,” said John Marshall, CEO of JM Search.

“Peter also adds the unique perspective having headed up talent acquisition for Polaris Ventures as well as being a venture partner with Polaris and serving on the boards of BlackArrow, JIBE, Adcade, Localytics, and Quantcast.”

Mr. Flint joined JM Search six months ago after working at Polaris Partners where he served as a general partner for 11 years leading investments in SaaS, Ad Tech, Analytics, and Internet companies. He also led Polaris’ executive recruiting team, where he worked across the firm’s portfolio to advise CEOs on executive hires and talent development. Prior to that, he worked for six years with Ramsey Beirne Associates, a one-time leading search firm supporting the venture capital industry.

JM Search, which is based in Philadelphia with offices in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago, has particular expertise partnering with private equity and venture capital firms to build leadership teams for their portfolio companies.
