Hightech Partners Strengthens Search Team

May 16, 2019 – Digital-focused executive search firm Hightech Partners (HTP) has announced that Elly de Vrijer, founder and owner of Dutch executive search firm Hill Consulting, will be joining HTP as a partner while still operating her own firm. This collaboration, said HTP, will help the firm strengthen its international reach.

“Hightech Partners is delighted about the cooperation with Elly,” said Raffaele Jacovelli and Bert Vermeiren, managing directors of HTP. “The arrival of Elly is a great opportunity to further develop our network in the technology industry and the digital world. Elly and Hill Consulting have a strong image in the market and an excellent long-lasting relationship with clients.”

Ms. de Vrijer’s in-depth knowledge of the international technology industry and understanding of the trends in the labor market complement HTP’s growth ambitions, said HTP. The partnership is also expected to strengthen HTP’s presence in the Netherlands and in the DACH region.

Ms. de Vrijer said the collaboration benefits both parties. “I have known HTP for a long time and we occasionally cooperated,” she said. “The company has the same business ethics as Hill Consulting and, not unimportantly, an extremely strong vision when it comes to where this beautiful profession is going. This includes the offering of new services related to digital transformation, but also artificial intelligence solutions for recruitment and HR.”

“Hightech Partners really understands what digital talent development is about,” she said. “This of course also benefits our candidates. Within this dynamic and fast changing digital ecosystem, we want to make a difference.”

How to Meet the Talent Challenges of a Changing Digital Landscape
Every day we see examples of how the technology and digital industries are changing the way we live and work. Whether it is cloud storage for our photos, playlists for our music, friends who are “cutting the cord,” or retail chains going out of business, the world is changing rapidly. The implications for recruiting senior executives are clear, but not necessarily easy to fulfill.

Ms. De Vrijer’s career in the ICT industry has spanned 35 years. She started as account manager for ADP and took on progressively important sales management roles for CA, Gentia Software, Oracle and Hitachi Data Systems. In 2004 she founded Hill Consulting, which serves international ICT software vendors, consultancy, outsourcing and services companies, retailers and others in the Netherlands and Europe.

Specializing in Digital Transformation

Hightech Partners specializes in digital transformation. The firm leverages forward-looking methods such as big data analysis and artificial intelligence into the executive search process to help companies embrace new ways of working. HTP has offices in Brussels and Geneva, Switzerland with local partners across the major regions of Europe. The firm also founded ITP Worldwide, an alliance of specialized search and consulting firms in the technology industry in the U.S. and Asia.

Last year, Hightech Partners undertook a brand relaunch that included a new logo, corporate identity and website. “The rebranding was an opportunity for us to realign with our vision of executive search in the digital age,” said Mr. Vermeiren. “Digital capabilities are no longer limited to ICT functions – marketing, operations, development, and many other core competencies of businesses must now engage digital solutions. We’ve long been a market leader in executive search for the ICT and tech industry, but now we are helping companies of all industries bring on digital-savvy talent for all departments.”
