Hanold Associates Recruits Head of People Analytics for Capital Group 

April 29, 2020 – Sandra Peña and Ashley Schiele of Chicago-based Hanold Associates have teamed up to place Erin Urwin as people analytics senior manager for Capital Group, a private financial services company headquartered in Los Angeles.

Ms. Urwin comes to Capital Group from Deloitte Services where she worked as talent reporting and analytics manager. In her new role, Ms. Urwin will be an integral member of Capital’s global human resources team with responsibility for framing the people analytics agenda. She is expected to help drive data-driven decision making across HR and manage and develop the HR analytics team.

Ms. Peña focuses on the recruitment of human resource professionals across industries including learning and development, talent management, HRBP, total rewards, talent acquisition, organizational development, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, she was an executive recruiter for Korn Ferry where she specialized in the recruitment of chief financial officers and finance executives.

She was also senior director of business development and account management for Latin America and the U.S. for the Corporate Executive Board in its information technology practice. Her experience also includes roles in business development for Latin America at Euromonitor International, a U.K.-based market research and consulting firm and as senior international sales specialist for Alliance Laundry Systems, a commercial laundry equipment manufacturer located in Ripon, WI.

Ms. Schiele, a partner with Hanold Associates, uses her advanced degree in organizational psychology to leverage both organizational dynamics and skill assessment in order to identify and recruit key talent. Before joining the firm, she worked as an account manager/recruiter for Kappa Search, a small technical recruiting firm based in Chicago’s West Loop. In this role, she was a full life-cycle recruiter, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with candidates and clients. Ms. Schiele has experience recruiting across industries and functions including, but not limited to, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, IT, sales, and marketing. She is a member of the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals.
