Hanold Associates Recruits CHRO for CPI Card Group

June 29, 2015 – Executive search firm Hanold Associates has recruited Lisa Jacoba as chief human resources officer (CHRO) of CPI Card Group. Hanold Associates’ partners Karlis Antons and Ivan Perry led the search. In her new position, Ms. Jacoba will have overall responsibility for the human resources function of the company, reporting directly to CPI’s president and chief executive officer, Steve Montross. Ms. Jacoba will partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to establish the right culture, talent pool and organization design & practices that will enable the company to achieve its goals. She will also be responsible for planning, designing, communicating and executing HR services and programs that are aligned with and further CPI’s business strategies.

Ms. Jacoba most recently served as a senior vice president of Western Union, she led a newly established B2B division focusing on strategic direction and supported 17 global locations in that function. Before that she was a SVP and strategic HR business partner to Western Union executives leading finance, HR, legal, compliance, product marketing, communications and the digital business.

Hanold Associates recently recruited the top CHRO post for outdoor apparel company Patagonia and Friedman Operating Group. The firm has also just launched CHRO searches for Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) and Outward Bound NY Schools. Headquartered in Chicago, the firm specializes in HR officer assignments and serving clients such as Patagonia, Nike, eBay, Heinz, Carnival Corporation and Vail Resorts.
