GHP Search Fills Board Positions with Literacy Partners

March 12, 2025 – According to recruiters interviewed by Hunt Scanlon Media, the executive search process for board directors is inherently complex and demands a customized approach. Firms specializing in board recruitment typically start with a thorough evaluation of the organization’s existing board structure, strategic objectives, and industry dynamics. This assessment helps shape the ideal candidate profile, which often includes sector-specific expertise, leadership experience, and a demonstrated ability to tackle challenges. Beyond technical qualifications, there is a strong focus on diversity—encompassing gender, ethnicity, and professional backgrounds—to foster a broader range of perspectives within the boardroom.
GHP Search, formerly known as Greenwich Harbor Partners, recently assisted in the recruitment of four board new members for Literacy Partners. They include: Sonia Chaliha, managing director, global head of banks, broker-dealers and insurance companies, asset servicing at BNY, Aureon Herron-Hinds, partner at RSM US LLP, Richard Hooper, managing director, technology investment banking at RBC Capital Markets, and John Rosso, president and CEO at Triton Digital.

With BNY since 2002, she has held a variety of leadership roles globally across the firm.
Ms. Herron-Hinds is a partner at RSM US LLP, where she advises some of the world’s largest financial institutions on complex cross-border transactions. Prior to that, she was the director of global information reporting for PwC and a member of the national tax controversy services practice for Deloitte.
Mr. Hooper is a technology and financial markets executive with experience in accelerating shareholder value across the technology ecosystem. He currently serves as managing director, technology investment banking at RBC Capital Markets. He was previously director, technology investment banking at Barclays Capital, and has held roles with Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Rosso is the president and CEO of Triton Digital where he oversees global operations delivering advertising, technology, and audience measurement solutions. He has held numerous other leadership positions within the broadcasting industry, most recently as president of Citadel Media, as well as roles with ABC Radio Networks.
