Furst Group Fills Top HR Post for Johns Hopkins Medicine 

April 29, 2026 – Executive search firm Furst Group, which serves the healthcare and insurance industries, has assisted in the recruitment of Enbar Cohen as its new vice president, human resources of Johns Hopkins Medicine. “We’re excited to welcome Enbar Cohen as our new vice president of human resources,” Johns Hopkins Medicine said in a LinkedIn post. “Enbar joins us from Jackson Health System in Miami, bringing extensive expertise in talent strategy, employee and labor relations, and building strong workplace cultures.”

Prior to joining Johns Hopkins Hospital, Ms. Cohen held multiple senior leadership roles at Jackson Health System over nearly a decade. Most recently, she served as associate vice president, talent, employee/labor relations, and workforce compliance, where she oversaw talent strategy and workforce governance. Earlier, Ms. Cohen held positions including associate vice president, employee/labor relations & workforce compliance, director, talent operations, and director, business development at the Miami Transplant Institute, building deep expertise in healthcare workforce strategy and operations.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Cohen served as city commissioner and vice-mayor at City of Aventura, gaining experience in public leadership and governance. She also worked with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as a law clerk/legal extern and contributed as state director – Young Elected Officials Network at People For the American Way, strengthening her foundation in employment law and public service.
