FMG Leading Adds Healthcare Strategy and Transformation Expert 

September 3, 2026 – Human capital advisory firm FMG Leading has expanded with the addition of healthcare strategy and transformation expert Doug Van Wie as managing director. Mr. Van Wie brings deep expertise spanning M&A and post-transaction advisory, commercial and vendor due diligence, enterprise growth strategy, value creation planning, transformation governance, and executive relationship management. He has advised CEOs and private equity sponsors along pathways to scale, from first 100 days to pre-exit strategic planning; supported 100+ transactions including a $5 billion specialty practice acquisition and a $2 billion healthcare IT deal; and led growth and value creation work across providers, payers, pharmacy, and health technology platforms.

Mr. Van Wie previously co-founded L.E.K. Consulting’s Atlanta office and started the firm’s pharmacy practice, where he advised several of the largest U.S. pharmacies as clients. He previously worked in commercial and product roles at healthcare technology company Influence Health, where he more than tripled annual client implementations and helped steer the company through its acquisition by private equity.
