DHR Global Seeking Executive Director for the Glacier National Park Conservancy
January 12, 2026 – Talent advisory firm DHR Global has been selected by the Glacier National Park Conservancy to find its next executive director. Kris McFeely, Tom Berray, and Emma Kemper are leading this search and eager to connect with mission-driven professionals with experience in fundraising, financial management, team leadership, and a passion for conservation. This critical leadership position is responsible for the strategic oversight of philanthropic initiatives, financial management, and partner relations dedicated to preserving Glacier National Park.
DHR is looking for candidates with deep experience in senior operating and nonprofit executive leadership roles, marked by the ability to articulate an inspiring strategic vision, guide organizations through multi-year execution, and consistently meet or exceed annual plan commitments. They should have authentic experience in Glacier National Park and passion for the park and the mission of the Conservancy. Those will have proven success meeting fundraising goals, including securing individual, major, and legacy gifts, expanding the donor base, engaging corporate philanthropy, organizing events, and cultivating relationships, including next-generation donors.
In addition, those applying will have the established capability to work with Conservancy staff, Park staff, board members, tribal partners, and community members while demonstrating political savvy in nonprofit and governmental interactions. They will be committed to fostering a positive, growth-oriented, and collaborative team environment that prioritizes staff development and mental health, while mentoring, retaining, and inspiring a diverse team.
The Glacier National Park Conservancy is the official non-profit fundraising partner of Glacier National Park with the mission to preserve and protect the park for future generations. The organization manages both philanthropic and retail operations that support vital park projects. In 2024, total revenue exceeded $12 million, enabling the Conservancy to provide $4.9 million in funding for 45 projects that directly support Glacier National Park. Since its founding, cumulative support for park projects has surpassed $30 million as of 2025.

With deep expertise in fundraising, operations, marketing, finance, and CEO and senior leadership transitions, she has placed executives in organizations ranging from grassroots nonprofits to national foundations, museums, healthcare institutions, and environmental organizations.
Mr. Berray is a managing partner in DHR’s Washington, D.C., office and a member of the advanced technology, business & professional services and nonprofit practice groups. Specializing in top-tier executive positions across all functional roles for technology companies, and technology roles across all industries, he has completed hundreds of C-suite and direct-report searches.
