DHR Global Acquires Westmont Search

February 23, 2022 – Chicago-based executive search firm DHR Global has acquired Philadelphia-based Westmont Search. The move adds two search consultants to the DHR roster and will strengthen the firm’s presence in the healthcare sector. Wendy Brown-Blau and Peter Blau, co-founders of Westmont Search, will join DHR as managing partners with a focus on health systems, managed care services and government programs.

“We are pleased to welcome Wendy, Peter and the Westmont Search team to DHR,” said Geoff Hoffmann, CEO of DHR Global. “DHR and Westmont Search are a perfect fit – with a shared vision of supporting clients with high-touch services delivered by experienced search consultants. Through DHR’s global platform, Westmont Search’s clients will have the same great service with access to a wider range of talent solutions, including individual, team and organizational development consulting services and deep expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion solutions.”

Westmont Search is a healthcare-focused executive search firm with a focus of hiring healthcare executives. It specializes in recruiting and placing leadership positions in finance, operations, information technology and management professionals for hospitals, managed care, healthcare providers and insurance companies.

Mr. Blau focuses on executive search for senior clinical and non-clinical leaders for health systems and managed care organizations. His experience in diverse fields—including healthcare, consumer products, energy and technology—enables him to quickly understand his clients’ unique needs, DHR says. “Peter delivers a high-touch, relationship-based client experience with a promise to personally interview, vet and prepare each candidate,” the firm said.

With more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Brown-Blau is a nationally recognized leader in executive search for managed care, government programs and health systems. She specializes in physician leadership and healthcare financial, compliance, marketing and operational leadership, and has worked with many well-known managed care plans and health systems across the country.

“DHR’s collaborative environment will provide our clients more resources while enabling us to continue to deliver the hands-on boutique experience they have come to expect,” said Ms. Brown-Blau.

“Through DHR our clients get the support and service offerings of a large global firm, which will allow us to provide more service offerings such as board and CEO executive search, diversity and talent advisory services and emerging leader search,” said Mr. Blau.
