Coulter Partners Adds Global Life Sciences Search Specialists
July 28, 2015 – Global Life Sciences search specialist Coulter Partners has added Emma Hiom as principal and Zubair Yusuf as senior associate in the U.K. “We are delighted to attract such versatile talent to consolidate the research team in this strong growth phase at Coulter Partners,” said Sharon Shields, managing director. Ms. Hiom joins the firm after having been director of her own business, EMH Executive Research Ltd, which she established in 2007. Prior to that, she was head the global life sciences operations for ZRG Partners. She has extensive expertise in providing research, talent identification and executive leadership services to clients worldwide. Ms. Hiom has a strong track record of sourcing and recruiting senior executives across a broad spectrum of healthcare disciplines spanning pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics and medical technology.
With nine years of life sciences executive search experience. Mr. Yusuf has led mid to senior level recruitment assignments for global pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations across Europe, North America and Asia. He previously served as team leader and principal consultant at Sharpstream Life Sciences, a specialist international performance-based search firm. Mr. Yusuf has led searches in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries filling roles within drug discovery, clinical research and development, regulatory and medical affairs, and marketing.
Over the past year Coulter Partners has made six other appointments to augment its dedicated life sciences research and delivery expertise. The team now includes PhD and MD-qualified researchers, language proficiency in Russian, Bulgarian, Italian, Spanish, Czech and Gujarati, and background in business psychology and human resource management. The firm is dedicated to the life sciences and healthcare industries and has offices in London, Switzerland, Denmark, Princeton, Boston and Morristown.
