CenterPeak Expands to Boston

April 16, 2026 – Legal-focused executive search firm CenterPeak has expanded into the Boston market, led by Jennifer Moss. She will now serve as senior partner and managing partner of CenterPeak’s Boston office. “Jen is exactly the kind of recruiter CenterPeak was built around,” said Clint Johnson, president and CEO of CenterPeak. “She has deep market knowledge, a proven record, and the kind of trusted relationships that only come from years of doing this work at the highest level. Jen’s presence in Boston signals to firms and partners across the market that they now have access to the full weight of the CenterPeak platform.”

“Having spent more than a decade as one of Boston’s most accomplished and sought-after partner recruiters, Moss brings a record of high-impact placements, multiple law firm office launches, and deep relationships across the region and globally,” CenterPeak said.

“The legal landscape in Boston has been rapidly evolving, with firms building out practices at a pace that demands recruiters who can seamlessly connect across markets,” said Ms. Moss. “CenterPeak’s platform gives my candidates and clients the benefit of my deep expertise in major markets and the ability to seamlessly service the full spectrum of their needs both in Boston and globally.”

Prior to joining CenterPeak, Ms. Moss served as a managing director in the partner practice group at Major, Lindsey & Africa, where she was a top producer and built one of the region’s most respected lateral partner recruiting practices. Her insights and background as a practicing attorney give her a practitioner’s perspective and deep command of the markets she serves.

Boston’s growth as a legal powerhouse aligns directly with CenterPeak’s broader global growth. The firm has built its reputation by serving AmLaw firms at their most critical points, including office openings, practice group expansions, and high-stakes lateral moves that reshape competitive positioning.

“Boston demands a recruiter who understands its distinct character, its firm culture, and the specific drivers that motivate partners there,” said firmwide managing partner Sabina Lippman. “Jen has spent years earning that trust. She knows the firms, she knows the talent and she knows what it takes to execute at the highest level in that ecosystem.”

CenterPeak is a talent advisor and growth partner to the world’s elite law firms. CenterPeak was created in 2023 when Johnson Downie and Lippman Jungers founders Clint Johnson, Sabina Lippman, and Mark Jungers came together to create the leading law firm partner recruiting firm in the world.

Already present in New York, California, and Texas, the newly combined firm quickly established beachheads in Washington, London, Chicago, and Miami, luring other industry giants who shared the founders’ vision. Today, CenterPeak facilitates more elite lateral partner moves than any of its competitors, by a wide margin. Combined, CenterPeak’s partners have placed more than 2,800 law firm partners and opened over 50 new offices for AmLaw 50 firms across the globe.

First International Office

In October, CenterPeak opened its first international office in London’s City financial district, marking a strategic response to growing demand from AmLaw firms seeking talent for cross-border matters. “London is the world’s second-largest legal market and the gateway to global opportunity,” said Mr. Johnson. “For a firm built on serving elite law firms, expanding here was the natural next step in strengthening how we deliver world-class talent solutions.”

How Law Firms Are Redefining Partner Recruitment in the Age of AI and Regulation

CenterPeak has quickly emerged as a dominant force in the highly competitive lateral partner recruiting market, advising many of the world’s leading law firms on critical growth moves. In Hunt Scanlon Media’s interview with Clint Johnson, the CenterPeak president and CEO discusses the sustained demand for elite legal talent and the factors driving partner movement across top markets. He also outlines what firms are prioritizing in senior hires today—and how technology, shifting client needs, and cultural alignment are reshaping recruitment at the highest levels.

The first hire in the London office was Adil Lalani, a senior partner with more than 20 years of experience in elite legal recruiting. He has market insight and longstanding relationships across the U.K., with particular expertise in the strategic New York-London legal corridor that drives billions in cross-border transactions.

“This expansion isn’t simply about geography,” said Mark Jungers, chief strategy officer at CenterPeak. “It’s about creating seamless connectivity between the world’s premier legal markets to advance our clients’ most strategic objectives.”
