Klein Hersh Places President and CEO for Damora Therapeutics

April 16, 2026 – Horsham, PA-based Klein Hersh, a search firm focused on the life sciences and healthcare industries, has recruited Jennifer Jarrett as president and CEO of NASDAQ-traded Damora Therapeutics in Boston. “We are excited to welcome Jen to Damora as we accelerate our efforts to bring innovative medicines to patients with mutant calreticulin (mutCALR)-driven myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPNs),” said Peter Harwin, chairman of the board of directors of Damora Therapeutics. “With a track record of success in oncology drug development and building and leading high-growth companies, Jen brings a unique set of strategic and operational experience that will be invaluable as we unlock Damora’s potential.”
Ms. Jarrett is a seasoned executive with nearly three decades of experience in corporate strategy, finance and investor relations, drug development, and organizational leadership. Most recently, she served as chief operating officer of Arcus Biosciences, a development-stage oncology company. During her tenure, she also served as CFO and a member of the company’s board of directors.
Prior to that, Ms. Jarrett served as vice president of corporate development and capital markets at Uber Technologies, Inc. Previously, she was CFO of Medivation, a commercial oncology company that developed the blockbuster medicine XTANDI (enzalutamide) for prostate cancer, through the company’s acquisition by Pfizer. Ms. Jarrett spent 20 years in investment banking, including at Citigroup, where she ran the firm’s west coast life sciences investment banking practice, and prior to that at Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Klein Hersh also recently recruited Jan Hillson as chief medical officer of Zag Bio, Inc., a biotechnology company pioneering thymus-targeted medicines in Cambridge, MA. “Jan joins Zag at a pivotal moment as we transition from research into clinical development,” said Jason Cole, CEO of Zag Bio. “She brings extensive expertise in immunology and rheumatology, along with firsthand experience advancing disease-modifying therapies for Type 1 diabetes. Jan’s deep understanding of autoimmune disease biology will be critical as we prepare ZAG-101 for the clinic and build a broader pipeline of thymus-targeted therapies.”
Dr. Hillson is a physician-scientist and rheumatologist with over 20 years of clinical development experience in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases across early and late stages. She previously served as senior vice president of clinical development at Provention Bio, a Sanofi Company, where she helped lead the clinical development of teplizumab for Type 1 diabetes and oversaw clinical projects in other autoimmune diseases.
