BroadView Talent Partners Recruits COO for Archway Communities
November 20, 2023 – BroadView Talent Partners has assisted in the recruitment of Laura Brudzynski as the new chief operating officer of Archway Communities in Lakewood, CO. “We are thrilled to have Laura join our team,” said Sebastian Corradino, CEO of Archway Communities. “Laura understands the housing landscape in Colorado, and I am confident in her ability help Archway continue finding solutions to Coloradans’ housing needs and identifying community-centered solutions to expand Archway’s impact.”
Ms. Brudzynski most recently served as chief housing officer for the City of Denver, where she was the second person ever to serve in the role. In this capacity, she utilized an understanding of housing and the critical role of supportive services to expand partnerships, resources, and housing options for those experiencing homelessness and housing instability in Denver, CO. She helped launch Denver’s Department of Housing Stability (HOST) and served as its deputy director of operations and then executive director as part of Mayor Hancock’s administration. There, she managed a $250 million budget, helped create dedicated local funding sources for affordable housing and homelessness resolution, and helped grow the team to over 130 positions. Prior to launching HOST, Ms. Brudzynski also served as director of housing policy and programs in Denver’s Office of Economic Development.
In her new role with Archway, Ms. Brudzynski will oversee internal operations and work closely with Archway’s real estate team to identify opportunities for new affordable housing projects and executing the successful completion of projects in development. “Housing stability is one of the most pressing issues facing Coloradans, and I am excited to join an organization at the forefront of creating affordable housing with supportive services in our community,” said Ms. Brudzynski. “Archway has long made an impact across the Denver metro area to address housing shortages and create healthy communities for its’ residents. He has developed a strong focus within the affordable housing, non-profit and middle-market sectors, and established a track record of well-placed, long-tenured C-suite executives. Prior to starting BroadView Talent Partners (formerly HCGA Consulting Partners) in 2015, Mr. McMillan served as the vice president of global talent acquisition for the NBA. Previously, he spent five years as a managing director at Diversified Search Group.

BroadView recently placed Geoffrey Barton as the new president and CEO of non-profit Mountain Housing Opportunities (MHO) in Asheville, NC. He replaced Scott Dedman, who retired in early August after 30 years in the role. Mr. Barton’s selection as MHO’s next leader comes after a nationwide search. Broadview Talent Partners conducted the search with an emphasis on diverse and inclusive talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development. Charlie Owen, chair of MHO’s board of directors, led the organization’s executive search in partnership with a small group of fellow board members, community leaders, and seasoned MHO staff. Johanna Vargas and Robyn Quinn led the assignment of behalf of BroadView.
