Boys & Girls Clubs of America Seeks Head of HR

July 20, 2015 – Executive recruiting firm Talent Connections, LLC, has been selected by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to lead its search for a new head of human resources. Tom Darrow, founder and principal of Talent Connections, is leading the assignment.

The HR head position holds the primary accountability for conceiving and administering Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s internal human resource policies, procedures and programs with some responsibility for providing human resource management services to local Boys & Girls Club organizations, either directly or in partnership and collaboration with Boys & Girls Club field staff.

The position will be based in Atlanta. “After a 22 year run, the current SVP of HR is retiring. Talent Connections has previously led chief human resources officer (CHRO) assignments for MedAssets, Revel Entertainment and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. The firm has also placed heads of talent acquisition for Kimberly-Clark, Mercedes-Benz and Cingular/AT&T.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a national organization dedicated to supporting local Boys & Girls Clubs with volunteer recruitment & staff development, program development and implementation, public relations, executive development, organizational development, as well as facility design, renovation, & safety. The national organization heads nationwide fundraising, marketing, & communications efforts, and addresses legislative & public policy issues that affect young people.
