Acertitude Recruits CHRO for Sunrise Senior Living

April 15, 2025 – Acertitude has recruited Judy Fimiani as the new chief human resources officer of private equity-backed Sunrise Senior Living. The search was led by partner Jessica Tvelia and principal Anny Chou. “The firm continues to build upon its long-lasting relationship with CEO, Jack R. Callison, Jr., and the entire Sunrise team, having conducted 20+ searches throughout the course of the partnership,” Acertitude said. In her new role, Ms. Fimiani will lead HR strategies that empower Sunrise team members to thrive, while ensuring an exceptional experience for the customers they serve. Her goal is to ensure that our HR strategies not only support the wellbeing of our cherished customers but also create a thriving work environment for every member of the Sunrise family.
With over 30 years of leadership experience across talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, benefits and compensation, HR operations, and leadership development, Ms. Fimiani is committed to building an inclusive and nurturing environment that supports both the Sunrise Senior Living team and the seniors it serves. Prior to joining Sunrise, she served as CHRO at Learning Care Group—a provider of early childhood education and care services—and held key talent leadership roles at Luxottica, the global leader in vision care and eyewear retail. Earlier in her career, Ms. Fimiani held a variety of HR leadership positions at Omnicare and NCS HealthCare.
Ms. Fimiani’s voluntary leadership experience includes service on the boards of Lindner College of Business and the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, the Mason City Schools Business Advisory Board, and the American Heart Association – Circle of Red.

Her work involves analyzing and developing market intelligence and private equity insights. Ms. Chou also delivers on strategic talent and operational initiatives that propel efficiencies and growth for the technology & healthcare practice. Before joining Acertitude, she co-launched a cryptocurrency-focused investment fund and participated in a series of private investments.
