Acertitude Assists Essendant Fulfillment Services with President Search
November 27, 2024 – Executive search firm Acertitude has helped to recruit Patrick Allard as the new president of Essendant Fulfillment Services, a Sycamore Partners portfolio company. Max Stubenvoll, principal overseeing business services in North America, led the search along with associate Kate Pozner. “Patrick’s experience in business development, marketing and product sales combined with his expertise in general business operations in B2B and B2C markets will help us realize outsized growth in our 3PL and Connected Commerce services,” said David Boone, interim CEO of Essendant.
Mr. Allard joins Essendant with more than 25 years in omnichannel logistics and technology services, driving revenue growth in dynamic, competitive environments. He comes to Essendant from Radial Inc., a multinational ecommerce fulfillment services company, where he was chief commercial officer responsible for leading the company’s commercial strategy and revenue operations. Prior to joining Radial, Mr. Allard served as the senior vice president and chief revenue officer of Global eCommerce at Pitney Bowes. He also spent 12 years with Newgistics, where he was responsible for the development of sales and go-to market strategy, helping to facilitate hyper growth within the organization.
In his new role with Essendant, Mr. Allard will lead the company’s fulfillment services (3PL) expansion initiative and accelerate its connected commerce services business.

His wide range of expertise spans executive search, pre-deal advisory, and strategy consulting across multiple relevant sectors and industries. Before joining Acertitude, Mr. Stubenvoll helped a range of private equity investors with pre-deal search and transaction support assignments as a senior associate on the consumer & business services team at Skillcapital.

Ms. Pozner is a member of the consumer and industrial practice. Originally joining the firm in its New York City office, she now collaborates with the U.S. and EMEA teams to recruit highly qualified board, C-level, and senior executive talent from its London office. Before coming to Acertitude, Ms. Pozner served as an associate in the private equity client services practice at AlphaSights, where she connected clients to leading business professionals and industry experts. She also supported pre-deal services related to private equity deal origination, due diligence, and portfolio company strategy.

Acertitude also recently assisted in the recruitment of Kaye Ceille as the new CEO of Sterling Site Access Solutions in Chicago. Kevin O’Neill, co-founder, managing partner, and leader of the industrial practice at Acertitude, led the search together with Mr. Stubenvoll. “In our search for CEO, we looked for someone who could embrace Sterling’s mission, build and maintain strong teams, and enable our employees to prosper and achieve their career goals,” said George Judd, chairman of Sterling’s board of directors. “Kaye embodied all of these qualities, and we look forward to the wealth of experience she will bring to the company.”
Ms. Ceille brings a strong track record of growing both companies and divisions within companies in American, European, and Australian markets. Her varied experience includes formulating and executing long-term strategic plans, leveraging technology to enhance operations and improve customer experiences, as well as overseeing M&A activity and post-merger integrations. Ms. Ceille joins Sterling from Montway Auto Transport, where she previously served as president of the company’s business solutions group.
