Accelent Recruits CMO for SoftWorks AI 

February 1, 2022 – Executive search firm Accelent has placed former Kasisto executive Stephen Epstein as the new chief marketing officer of SoftWorks AI. Leading the assignment were John Boehmer, managing director; Maura McShane, partner; and Jerzy Jung, associate. “We are excited to announce that Stephen Epstein has joined the company as our first ever chief marketing officer,” SoftWorks AI said. “As a member of the executive team and with his 20-plus years experience in banking product, technology and marketing, Stephen has helped build some of the industry’s most successful financial technology brands. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Epstein has held marketing and product leadership positions in many financial technology companies and brings extensive knowledge of the financial services industry through his time at leading global banking organizations. He has a record for overcoming business deficiencies, complex and challenging product issues with the innate ability to quickly restructure product strategies and reposition market messaging in order to align to industry growth, trends and opportunities with a goal of delivering robust revenue growth. Previously, Mr. Epstein was chief marketing officer of Kasisto. Prior to that, he served in various roles with Merlon.

In his new position with SoftWorksAI, Mr. Epstein is responsible for the firm’s marketing strategy and related functions, including branding, positioning and product marketing, in addition to demand and lead generation.

Ms. McShane is an executive search consultant with over 15 years of experience in the technology sector. Her primary focus has been on enterprise software, internet, E-commerce, security and systems integration. Her clients have ranged in size from venture capital backed start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations. She has been responsible for driving the research strategy, candidate development, client assessment and presentation. She has successfully completed searches in all functional areas, including C-level and board of directors.

Ms. Jung has held roles as both a coordinator and executive assistant at MediaLink’s executive search practice.
