October 1, 2021 – Executive search firm Accelent recently placed Rahul Lahiri as the new chief product officer for PebblePost, a leading digital to direct mail platform. Mr. Lahiri will head the product division as the company looks to build on the momentum and growth it has experienced in the last year. Leading the assignment were John Boehmer, managing director, Maura McShane, partner, and Jerzy Jung, associate.
“This has been a blockbuster year for PebblePost and the brand we work with,” said PebblePost CEO Jacob Ross. “Brands are growing and taking market share at a faster pace than ever, and they have seen the incredible impact reaching consumers at home with relevant physical mail can be. We’ve seen explosive growth as they compete to reach consumers at home with mail that is relevant, respectful and performant. Rahul will play a critical role in evolving the Programmatic Direct Mail platform and the PebblePost Graph to further our mission of enabling brands to reach consumers at home with the most relevant and respectful physical mail.”
Mr. Lahiri most recently served as co-founder of Mesh Dynamics, which Google acquired. He also spent nearly three years as Criteo’s vice president of product, where his knowledge powering highly relevant marketing using online intent expressed by consumers drove the product development and go-to-market strategy for Criteo’s product offering. He also played a key role at Google, building search remarketing from the ground up to a multi-billion-dollar revenue line for the business. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lahiri worked on and led product development teams for internet search and advertising technology companies Ask.com and Netseer, which was acquired by Inuvo.
“In all marketing, the greatest predictors of performance are relevance and timing,” said Mr. Lahiri. “PebblePost is perfectly positioned to help brands master both within an entirely re-imagined channel. The customer experience is no longer siloed by ‘digital’ and ‘brick and mortar.’ Technology like Programmatic Direct Mail allows brands to seamlessly bring together a full picture of the customer that is actionable and measurable regardless of where the consumer converts.”
Mr. Lahiri’s hire comes following a year of explosive growth for PebblePost, in which the company launched its Lookalike and Graph Mail products and saw revenue more than double year over year. Earlier this year, PebblePost also welcomed to the executive team Nick Dujnic, formerly VP marketing of LiveIntent, to lead all marketing functions for the company.
Founded in 2014, New York City-based PebblePost helps hundreds of brands like Mejuri, Hilton and J. Crew to reach consumers at home with timely, relevant mail that activates buying decisions and drives conversions everywhere. The inventor of Programmatic Direct Mail, PebblePost’s platform captures online interest and intent data, leveraging advanced targeting, algorithmic optimization, attribution and quantitative analysis to send relevant direct mail within 12 to 24 hours of a user expressing interest in a product or service.
