Yoh Announces New Alignment of WorkForce Offerings
April 23, 2010 – Yoh, a provider of long- and short-term temporary and direct placement of technology and professional personnel, has announced a new alignment of its workforce offerings to leverage the company's existing management talent, marketing expertise and operational infrastructure in conjunction with parent company Day & Zimmermann. As part of this alignment, Yoh will consolidate the company's services and enhance the interoperability with Day & Zimmermann's other business lines. “The composition of the workforce has changed rapidly within the past 18 months, and many businesses have quickly discovered that those not able to react cannot effectively compete in today's global economy,” said Lori Schultz, president of Yoh. “With unemployment still sitting at 9.7 percent, the workforce today is unlike any other that we've seen, involving a mix of permanent hires, contract employees, temporary talent, and freelance workers.” Yoh is a managed staffing services company focusing on the IT, scientific, engineering, healthcare and telecommunications communities.
