TMP Worldwide Opens Office in Germany

November 30, 2011 – TMP Worldwide, the global digital recruitment advertising agency, has opened a wholly-owned office in Hamburg, Germany. Jan Anthon has been appointed managing director of TMP Worldwide Germany GmbH and he will be responsible for growing the business in the German market. Mr. Anthon joins TMP from XING, where he was in a new business development role specializing in the technology sector. Prior to XING, Anthon was a partner at a German personnel marketing agency AWS:pwu GmbH. He has more than 15 years of leadership experience in recruitment advertising, and a deep understanding of digital, social and mobile media’s strategic use in the space. “Having a presence in Germany is another milestone in TMP’s global expansion and puts us in a prime position to service clients locally as well as multi-nationals operating in this region,” said Michelle Abbey, president and CEO of TMP Worldwide. “Germany is a particularly important focus for us because it is a growth market for many of our clients and presents an opportunity for us to introduce prospects to our innovative creative, media, and digital solutions.” With the addition of TMP Germany, TMP Worldwide now has wholly-owned entities in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, France, Singapore, and India.
