TheLadders.com Unveils News Recruiting App

June 21, 2013 – Online job matching service TheLadders.com has unveiled its iOS mobile app. Developed with a feature-lean approach, TheLadders’ app, “Job Search by TheLadders,” now available for free on the app store, provides a new way to identify job matches on-the-go, discover new job opportunities, and retrieve information on the competition. “The job-search evolution from the web to mobile devices — a $6 billion opportunity that is ripe for the taking — could be as significant as the transition of print newspapers going online,” said TheLadders CEO and co-founder Alex Douzet. “Although dozens of career apps exist, they require applicants visit the employer’s site, whereas, we have built an intuitive user interface that offers a minimalistic, one-tap approach to the job-search experience.” The iPhone app, currently available on the App Store, also will include “TheLadders Scout,” a proprietary, competitive-analysis tool.
