January 12, 2021 – La Jolla, CA-headquartered search firm The Lancer Group has placed Patti Newcomer as chief marketing officer and Rob Patrick as chief sales officer of FMG Suite, a SaaS company specializing in marketing software and services for financial advisors and insurance agents that is backed by Aurora Capital. FMG Suite brought in these seasoned SMB and enterprise software executives to expand the company’s market share and customer base.

She joins FMG Suite from Intuit, where she was responsible for all marketing functions for professional tax and financial services businesses during her seven-year tenure as vice president of marketing. Prior to that, Ms. Newcomer held executive roles in marketing at WorldPay US (now FIS), Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) and Capital One.
In his new position, Ms. Newcomer will lead FMG Suite’s brand and product positioning and refine its go-to-market approach. Driven by analytics and a passion for identifying the most effective growth practices, she is tasked with executing an ambitious multi-year plan featuring significant growth targets.
Mr. Patrick brings more than 25 years of strategic sales leadership experience to FMG Suite. His career in disruptive enterprise software companies spans roles at Mitratech, LexisNexis, and Qwest (now CenturyLink). He most recently served as the senior vice president of sales and marketing at KPA, a company specializing in environmental safety and workplace compliance software for midsize businesses.
In his new role, Mr. Patrick will grow FMG Suite’s enterprise software business, identify new revenue opportunities, and pioneer new markets for the company. He will also oversee the strategy and performance of FMG Suite’s sales and business development teams.
