The Institute of Recruiters Opens Doors

June 10, 2011 – The Institute of Recruiters (IOR), the professional membership body that brings recruitment and HR practitioners together, has opened. The group was founded to represent the interests of recruiters and HR professionals both in the U.K. and overseas. “We have been thrilled with the volume of activity that has taken place in the IOR’s LinkedIn Group in the lead-up to the launch, which has shown there’s a real need for a body like the IOR within the sector. The organization will be a hub of best practice, where members can share knowledge, collaborate and connect with peers from across the world. We are excited to start welcoming members into the organization,” said Dave Barber, director of member services at the IOR.
