September 16, 2010 – Executive search firm Tatum LLC has expanded its healthcare practice by adding Terry Peltes, Don Hanson and Greg Klotz to its leadership team. Mr. Peltes will act as the managing partner for Tatum's Denver office while helping to grow and strengthen the firm’s healthcare practice. He is a former executive chairman of ALN Medical Management and a former president and CEO of Aptiv Technology Partners and Certus Corporation. Mr. Hanson becomes healthcare practice leader for the company's Pacific region. He will be responsible for working with hospitals, physician practices and other healthcare organizations to improve performance using Tatum's services. Mr. Hanson was most recently a partner with several private equity firms specializing in M&A, business development and operations. Mr. Klotz will provide leadership within Tatum's revenue cycle management practice. With more than 25 years experience in the healthcare industry, Mr. Klotz is a seasoned independent revenue cycle management professional with experience in front to back end operations/leadership. He specializes in revenue cycle turnarounds, denial management, cash improvements and infrastructure. Prior to Tatum, he ran his own revenue cycle practice for 10 years and before that was with Ernst and Young, Stockamp and Associates and Siemans. “For-profit and not-for-profit hospitals will spend more than $10 billion annually in total to transform their organizations over the next 10 years. Industry data further indicates there are 2,000 hospitals operating with low or negative financial indicators, making them ideal candidates for Tatum Healthcare's transformation services,” said Rick Kramer, senior vice president at Tatum. “Tatum is investing in its healthcare leadership team to continue our history of partnering with hospitals and health systems to create extraordinary results.”
