SPMB Executive Search Recruits Chief Technology Officer for Arlo Technologies

March 8, 2024 – SPMB Executive Search, which helps find transformative executives throughout Silicon Valley, has recruited Samir Kapoor as the new chief technology officer of NYSE-traded Arlo Technologies, Inc., a smart home security brand in San Jose, CA. Mr. Kapoor is a seasoned C-level technology executive with deep experience leading complex engineering organizations across hardware, software, and SaaS technology companies. He has a track record of success at companies including Fitbit and Life360, where he also served as chief technology officer. Mr. Kapoor is an operating partner at Diversis Capital, a software and technology-focused growth private equity firm with over $1 billion AUM. He formerly served as executive vice president, engineering and product at Swift Navigation. In addition, Mr. Kapoor spent 10 years with Qualcomm serving as VP of engineering. He also has advisory and board experience at various VC and PE backed companies.

Recent Assignment

SPMB recently placed Jim Stuebner as the new CFO of Secure Code Warrior. The assignment was led by partner Steven Popper. Mr. Stuebner’s career spans 20+ years as a finance executive in SaaS, software and other growth-oriented technology companies. As CFO, he is responsible for Secure Code Warrior’s finance, accounting, legal, security and IT functions. Before joining the company, Mr. Stuebner served as SVP of finance at Intapp, VP of finance at Venafi, VP of risk management at Trimble, and division CFO at both VMware and HP. He relies on his experience scaling private and public companies, including contributing to an IPO at Intapp, to help drive growth at Secure Code Warrior.
