Spencer Stuart to Lead CEO Search for AARP

January 28, 2014 – Executive search firm Spencer Stuart has been selected by AARP Services, Inc. to lead in its search for a new president and chief executive. John Wider, who has held the position since 2008, has announced his retirement at the end of the year. AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, with a membership of nearly 38 million, that helps people turn their goals and dreams into real possibilities, strengthens communities and fights for the issues that matter most to families such as healthcare, employment and income security, retirement planning, affordable utilities and protection from financial abuse.
