Sheffield Haworth Adds to New York Office

June 17, 2009 – London-based executive search firm Sheffield Haworth has appointed Mark Esposito as managing director and head of its business and professional services practice for the Americas. Mr. Esposito comes to Sheffield Haworth from Sextant Search Partners in New York where he served as partner. He will assume responsibilities from Stephen Spagnuolo, who launched the New York business for the firm in June 2004 and has led its growth and development over the past five years. He will be turning over local management to Mr. Esposito so that he can concentrate full time on strengthening and extending Sheffield Haworth’s strategic relationships across investment banking (IBD) domestically and internationally, particularly in Asia. Accordingly, Mr. Spagnuolo will carry on as managing director and co-head of the global banking and private equity practice in the U.S. and member of the group management committee. Tim Sheffield, CEO, said: “I am delighted to announce that Mark has joined us. He brings a wealth of experience and is a strong addition to the team in North America as well as to the Sheffield Haworth Group. Despite these challenging times we have remained committed to continuing our international growth strategy and look forward to announcing further hires in the near future." Prior to Sextant Partners, Mr. Esposito also worked for eight years at CTPartners, where he founded the firm's global financial services practice and was a member of the firm's leadership advisory board.
