SFN Group 26 Percent Revenue Rise
November 2, 2010 – Recruiting giant SFN Group, formerly known as Spherion Corporation,/(NYSE:SFN) posted third quarter 2010 revenues of $527 million, a 26 percent increase from revenues of $527 million during the same period last year. The Fort Lauderdale-based company recorded adjusted earnings from continuing operations of $6.0 million, or $0.11 per share, compared with $0.5 million, or $0.01 per share, a year ago. “Long-term industry dynamics are positive and current industry trends continue to improve even in the face of slower U.S. economic growth,” said Roy Krause, president and CEO. “Our business is positioned well to respond to market opportunities and we continue to invest in strategic growth areas such as recruitment process outsourcing and professional services where we have leading market positions.”
