RSR Partners Appoints Co-Head of Asset Management Practice

January 21, 2025 – Greenwich, Conn.-based RSR Partners has named Edward D. C. Fowler as co-head of the firm’s asset management practice, alongside current co-head, Maryann Bovich. “Ed has a great reputation in the endowment and foundation community,” said Brett Stephens, CEO of RSR Partners. “His authentic long-standing relationships with prominent and respected institutions drive Ed’s success in delivering outstanding leadership and talent for our clients. That success has been foundational to our position as the go-to firm in the asset management arena.”

Mr. Fowler has more than 30 years of search experience and a track record of developing and leading relationships with top investment firms and allocators across the United States. He primarily works with endowments, foundations, family offices, and OCIO firms. Mr. Fowler recruits CIOs and also helps build out their teams. Additionally, he recruits both investment and institutional sales professionals for a variety of direct investment firms. His background also includes numerous COO, risk, and general counsel searches for his clients.

Mr. Fowler joined RSR Partners in 2017, when the firm acquired Higdon Partners to broaden its reach in the asset management community. Prior to Higdon, he was an entrepreneur. Mr. Fowler founded and ran his own recruiting firm focused exclusively on asset management and co-founded a successful recruiting-related software start-up. Early in his career, he worked at the law firm Wachtell Lipton.
