RIVS Secures $2 Million in Funding

August 8, 2013 – RIVS, a Chicago-based early stage company, has received $2 million Series A round financing. Companies such as AECOM, Porter Airlines, Careerbuilder’s Personified, and SolarCity use RIVS’ patented cloud-based digital interviewing software to assess a job candidate’s communication abilities, attitude, and other soft skills significantly faster, leading to higher quality candidates in much less time. “While traditional resumes tell a lot about what someone has done, we believe that digital voice and video interviews allow recruiters and hiring managers to understand what a candidate can do, by helping paint a complete picture,” said David Wieland, CEO and co-founder. “We are very fortunate to have such amazing investors and partners alongside us in this journey to forever change and improve how hiring is done…and have some fun along the way.”
