RedLaw Opens Doors in London
August 26, 2009 – Legal search firm Redlaw has been launched in London by recruiting veterans Jonathan Benjamin and Amy Hambleton. The firm will focus on senior lawyers, working with senior associates through to equity partners and will assist with team moves and mergers. “In our experience, there has never been a greater need for a legal recruitment company to offer true consultative advice and expert guidance for senior lawyers making a move in the current difficult market,” said Ms. Hambleton. “The downturn is forcing many partners to consider whether their firm is the right platform for them going forward and we can offer substantial experience and insights into the marketplace to assist with their decision making process. We have worked in both boom markets and recessions and are experienced in handling all steps of a move from finalizing business plans and partner questionnaires through to the practicalities of a move.” The RedLaw founders have more than 10 years’ legal recruitment experience, with experience focusing predominantly on the senior lawyer market. Mr. Benjamin most recently served as a board director at international legal recruiter, Laurence Simons. Ms. Hambleton was formerly a senior consultant at Laurence Simons.
