Recruitment & Employment Confederation Names Director in Ireland

August 27, 2013 – The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) has appointed Tina McKenzie as new REC regional director for Northern Ireland. Ms. McKenzie is the country director for the Staffline Group and her role will focus on continuing to build the recruitment industry’s voice in Northern Ireland, as well as driving policy and awareness-raising campaigns such as youth employment and the reform of the employment regulations. “The aim is to work collaboratively with other recruitment professionals and to build on existing relationships with politicians and business organizations,” said Ms. McKenzie. “With jobs and growth at the top of the political agenda, it is more important than ever to ensure that the recruitment industry in Northern Ireland has a strong collective voice.” The REC is the professional body for the U.K. recruitment industry with over 260 branches operating in Northern Ireland within REC membership.
