Maureen brings over 20 years of executive recruiting experience with significant expertise across sectors and functions. Maureen is a pioneer in diversity, equity and inclusion work. She has led complex executive search, consulting, finance and operations efforts for a variety of institutions.

Most recently, Maureen was the Senior Vice President & COO of The Partnership, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in working with organizations in all sectors to build multicultural and diverse leadership talent. Prior to joining The Partnership, Maureen was with City Year, where she served as the first Vice President of Recruitment.

Maureen has helped organizations find cohesion around a common set of goals by serving as a mentor, coach and facilitator, both within the executive search world and beyond. She has partnered with a range of corporate clients such as J.P. Morgan, Northern Trust, and Deloitte and nonprofit organizations such as the YWCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Boys & Girls Clubs and Mass, Inc.

Previously, Maureen served as Managing Director at the global search firm Horton International, LLC, where she helped build the firm’s philanthropic practices and financial services. She was partner and co-head of the Diversity Practice at the global firm Whitehead Mann Pendleton James, where she recruited senior management and board-level executives for several organizations, including the Chief Investment Officers of California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) and California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS).
