Based in Boston, Kirstin brings experience in partnering with nonprofits through the full search lifecycle, from needs assessment to candidate evaluation and development to client management.
Prior to Koya, Kirstin served as a Search Consultant at Commongood Careers, working with organizations representing a wide variety of mission areas, from youth development to human services to education to community development. She has led searches across all functional areas and levels, with much of her experience focused on identifying talented candidates for Executive Director, development, and program management roles.
Kirstin began her career in a nonprofit program management role with Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts-Boston, where she recruited and supported over 250 tutor/student pairs, launched new initiatives to support student and tutor engagement, and developed an education and career advising strategy. She also served as an adult literacy tutor with the program for seven years.
Kirstin holds a B.A. in English from Skidmore College and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Periclean Honor Society.
