Katie Mazzuckelli has helped place professionals in a wide array of healthcare positions during her career in the executive search field. Calling on her early-career experience in the healthcare information technology arena, Katie has built an impressive roster of successful IT-related searches, ensuring that entities relying on comprehensive data-driven health metrics have capable CIOs and CMIOs.
But her search experience is not limited to health information technology; Katie has proven success in searches across a wide breadth of functional areas, from CEOs and CFOs, to the all-important clinical-care leadership searches involving CMOs, CNOs, Chief Quality Officers, and physician practice executives.
Katie worked with an Atlanta-based retained executive search firm for 20 years. Initially, she developed and led that organization’s HIT practice, later refined the company’s research capabilities, and ultimately was named Vice President, Operations.
She came to executive search after leading strategic marketing efforts for ALLTEL Information Services (formerly known as TDS Healthcare Systems) and, prior to that, for McDonnell Douglas Health Systems. Her volunteer efforts have focused on improving her community’s school systems. Katie’s organizational skills, experience, and sharp focus on carrying through projects to successful completion make her an ideal partner for any firm intending to fill important executive positions.
Katie earned her M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and her M.S. in organic chemistry and B.S. Magna Cum Laude in chemistry from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.
