Joyce E. Tucker

As a seasoned clinical and operational healthcare executive for more than 30 years, Joyce is responsible for senior-level healthcare search services and consultation. She works in collaboration with healthcare boards and senior executives at healthcare organizations nationwide to acquire senior talent to meet their business objectives.

During her esteemed career, Joyce has been responsible for healthcare administration and management, human resources, budgeting, purchasing, marketing, strategic planning and process improvements. She draws upon this diverse background to help healthcare organizations successfully define leadership roles and acquire senior talent with the right technical and cultural skills to successfully lead in today’s changing healthcare market.

Prior to joining Cejka Executive Search, Joyce’s executive recruitment experience included leadership positions with The Chase Group and a leading healthcare executive search firm. She leveraged her clinical and operations background in the healthcare IT solutions arena as a Senior Engagement Leader for Cerner Corporation. In this position, she led the solutions planning and installation process for customers with large, integrated systems. Joyce’s healthcare management experience includes serving as Administrator for Hunkeler Eye Institute, LLC/Nova Med, Inc., where she was responsible for a large, physician-led practice with specialty surgery centers nationwide.

She served as the Vice President of Patient Care Services for Park Lane Medical Center/Health Midwest, an integrated delivery system with 13 hospitals, a health plan, home health, and a hospital-sponsored, multi-specialty medical group with 140 physicians in approximately 35 locations. She was also the Director of Outpatient Services for Providence Medical Center after serving as a nurse manager and educator.
