Jon Rose

Jon joined the Hyperion Executive Search team in Jan 2018 and is responsible for leading our operations in North America and supporting our clients in this ever expanding market. Jon will be building our first US based team out of Austin, Texas.

Jon has a proven track record partnering with a diverse portfolio of energy & technology clients across the world, ranging from pre-investment start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, to find the best talent in the industry.

A year after graduating in the UK in 2011, Jon relocated to Houston, TX and spent 3 years working with upstream oil & gas clients to manage their senior-level technical & commercial searches, recruiting industry leaders responsible for multi-million onshore & offshore projects. Passionate about making a contribution to a more sustainable energy system, Jon moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2014 and started to utilize his executive search experience in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors, working with independent power producers, project developers and investment funds to tell their story in the marketplace. He has managed senior-level searches in thirteen states with wind energy, solar energy and energy storage clients and has placed candidates across a broad spectrum of disciplines – C-Level, Operations, Asset Management, Project/Product Development, Engineering, Finance, Legal and Marketing.

Jon is an avid follower of US sport, a proud owner of a Stetson, a keen long distance runner (completed the New York Marathon in 2017 and is running the Paris Marathon in 2019) and a craft beer enthusiast (currently brewing his own beer with very mixed success!)
