As a Researcher for WinterWyman Executive Search, Jessica Joy conducts in-depth market and industry research on high-performing companies and candidates to support current searches as well as pre-search activities. With a background in documentation and languages, Jessica is an expert at aggregating data from a wide variety of databases and resources to identify senior-level candidates for specific opportunities. She also leads the reporting and data management functions throughout the lifecycle of a search. Jessica has provided research for a wide range of executive searches, including those for Casper Sleep, Residential Mortgage Services, Noble Supply & Logistics, Carroll Enterprises, Mercury Media, New York University, iboss, QuickBase, Great Elm Capital, Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Boston Medical Center, Patheon, Handy, Stahl, Aclara Technologies, RUN Ads, Etsy and The Riverstone Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Jessica served as the Director of Documentation and Special Projects for Match Education, an operator of high-performing urban public charter schools. While at Match, she led the documentation process to codify institutional knowledge – including all curricula materials, systems and best practices – for licensure to public school districts and other clients. She also oversaw the instructional and behavior management capacity of 20 full-time professional math tutors by leading group training sessions, providing one-on-one coaching and designing/implementing professional development sessions. Jessica was a double major at Amherst College where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree and served as the Editor-in-chief of FRAME, the school’s visual arts magazine. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her two sisters and relaxing in good company.
