Benjamin DeBerry

Ben joined Slayton Search Partners in January 2009 as an Executive Vice President in the Firm’s Consumer and Industrial Practice Groups. Ben brings 30+ years of senior-level professional experience including a decade in executive search. His clients include Fortune 50, leading family-owned corporations and select private equity-backed portfolio companies. He has successfully recruited for a range of positions including: board of directors, presidents, chief executive officers, chief financial officers and senior roles in sales, marketing and business development.

Previously, he was President of a boutique search firm, where he managed all aspects of the business, working closely with a talented group of search professionals to strategically grow each of the practices. Prior to that, Ben was Managing Director, Chicago and Global Managing Director of the Industrial Markets Practice at a large, global search firm.

He has held various senior management positions with leading corporate organizations and was also the CEO of a 30+ unit, Midwestern restaurant chain. Ben’s experience in both the corporate and entrepreneurial arenas enables him to offer clients unique perspectives and insights into the assessment and recruitment of extraordinary executives.
