R. William Funk & Associates Heading President Search for Winthrop University

September 19, 2014 – R. William Funk & Associates has been retained by Winthrop University to lead in a search its 11th president. Winthrop trustees plan to have the finalists for the position in place by the spring of 2015. Founded in 1886, Winthrop University is a public, coeducational, liberal arts university located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. For the past two decades, R. William Funk & Associates has provided searches for colleges and universities leadership nationally with a particular specialization at the provost, vice president and dean levels.
