Partners Changes Names to HigdonBraddockMatthews

November 15, 2010 – Higdon Partners LLC, an executive search firm focused on the asset management and financial services industries, has changed its name to HigdonBraddockMatthews LLC to reflect an expansion of the firm's senior leadership team to include managing partners Derek R. Braddock and William R. Matthews. The firm is headquartered in New York City and has offices in Boston and Los Angeles. "The partnership has decided that Derek Braddock and Bill Matthews will take on leadership roles helping me run the firm on a day-to-day basis, said Hank Higdon, chairman and managing partner. "As we approach our 25th anniversary in February 2011, our firm has great momentum. We have recently completed a range of notable searches for leading institutions in the traditional and alternative asset management arenas, and are excited about our growing presence in important markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia." Mr. Braddock joined the firm in 2005 after five years with Charles Schwab & Company in the institutional area. Mr. Matthews, who joined the firm in 2008 and manages the Boston office, was formerly an investment banker with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Hank Higdon founded the firm in February 1986 after 15 years with Russell Reynolds Associates. In March 2010, Mr. Higdon received the 27th Gardner Heidrick Award, an award is given annually by the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).
