Oracle Acquires SelectMinds

September 18, 2012 – SelectMinds, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) networking and referral technologies, has been acquired by Oracle. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The combination of Oracle and SelectMinds’ complementary social sourcing capabilities is expected to create a comprehensive recruiting, candidate sourcing, and talent management offering for organizations to reach quality referrals through social recruiting. “Recruiting candidates through employee referrals is widely acknowledged as the most effective method to find talent through trusted contacts.
